“A MOTHERS LOVE, A MOTHERS LOSS …
AIDS: A Mothers Heart Wrenching True Story”

A passionate memorial of the author’s son, Chip, who was ravaged by AIDS; a loving benediction to his memory, and a call for a more compassionate treatment of victims by the public.

Originally published as ULTIMATE LOVE: A Life of Soul & Searching

“The new cover represents the heavenly essence of the light of God that Chip shared with his Mother while she was at his bedside as he reached his weakened hand and arm to God revealing what he was spontaneously experiencing. Once the book is read the significance is in the spoken words.”

Kitty Caley’s life was forever changed when her only child Chip was diagnosed with AIDS. Through her son’s long illness and eventual death, she was given a haunting insight into a disease that still remains misunderstood as the death toll continues to climb.

Having a son and watching him grow into a healthy, likable young man brought immense joy to Kitty Caley’s life. Losing him when he was only twenty-seven was the ultimate agony.

ULTIMATE LOVE is the story of their struggle with a deadly and merciless disease at a time when little was known about it. Caley eloquently chronicles the horror of AIDS, seeing it from both the eyes of the victim and of those who love him. Theirs is an uplifting story which stands as testimony that love does indeed conquer all.

Forward

Brandon Twigg Williamson–”CHIP” was a pioneer with AIDS. Be it Death because of the 9/11 attack on the United States or the worldwide attack of HIV/AIDS. It’s a life of love, and in our hearts they remain.

In Chip’s days not much was known, nor was there any encouragement. You died with AIDS. Today you live with AIDS due to the great improvement of medicines and knowledge. Yet this often leaves a misconception with people thinking they can just take a pill and that’s it! Then it may be too late when people learn of the side effects and what this medicine can do to the body. There is still much pain and suffering. Not knowing what to expect.

The real difference today is that HIV/AIDS can be prevented. Yet the death toll continues to climb. We’ve come along ways with more understanding and more people wanting to help. Yet in the next breath this may be contradicted with the same stigma and fear still overpowering ones thinking. It’s surprising many people still do not understand about AIDS; therefore they do nothing. One may be a carrier of the virus and not know it. Abstinence or Condoms and HIV/AIDS TESTING are the only (sure) way to know you are doing your body justice.
